Tests have shown that when corn moisture content increases from 14.3% to 21%, its productivity is reduced by 29% and its power consumption is increased by 12.5%. When the water content of barley is increased from 13.8% to 20%, its productivity is reduced by 30% and its power consumption is increased by 12.5. %. Therefore, it is generally required that the moisture content of the feed at the time of crushing does not exceed 15%. 2. The impact of the hammer speed is very large. In the given range, the low value is taken when the stem feed is crushed, and the high hammer speed when crushing the grain feed has a great influence on the productivity and power consumption of the grinder. Tests have shown that when the hammer speed is too low, the strike capability is reduced, and the suction power of the powder is also small, so the productivity is low and the power consumption is increased. When the speed is high, the crushing capacity and the powder discharge capacity are increased, so that the productivity is improved. However, if the speed is too high, due to the increase of the blast effect of the rotor, the vortex action of the crushing chamber is strengthened, leading to an increase in no-load power consumption. At the same time, when the material speed is too high, the chance of exiting the screen hole is reduced, and therefore the crushing efficiency is also reduced. In addition, if the hammer speed is too high, the power consumption of bearing friction and agitation air will increase dramatically, which will increase the energy consumption per unit product.
